Opportunity: Marketing Generalist

Are you looking for a chance to play a major part in a growing company? Do you sweat the details and like to roll up your sleeves to make things happen? Welcome to BAYCOM. As the Marketing Generalist of an employee-owned company, you will be responsible for providing leadership and marketing expertise to the BAYCOM team in the areas of strategic planning, project managing marketing initiatives, sales support, event planning, website management, content creation and tracking the team’s success. The Marketing Generalist will report to the Marketing Director, work closely with sales and leadership teams and manage agency and partner relationships.


Specific Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop Strategic Marketing Plan
    • Develop strategic marketing plans by product/solution
    • Develop budget and track marketing activities
    • Manage market development programs with manufacturing partners.
    • Develop, manage and follow branding and messaging guidelines
 
  • Manage and Execute Strategic Marketing Plan
    • Plan and execute lead generation, nurture and retention programs
    • Work closely with sales and marketing partners to develop campaigns
    • Track results and manage data
 
  • Manage Trade Shows and Event Planning:
    • Manage Pre- and Post-tradeshow and event promotion
    • Setup trade shows for all products
    • Coordinate custom events
    • Schedule staff for off-site trade shows
 
  • Maintain BAYCOM and Website:
    • Managing blog program
    • Developing content
    • Perform scheduled updates on WordPress platform
    • Assemble web pages
    • Managing lead inquiries
 
  • Manage and Track SEO, SEM and Google Analytics:
    • Search engine optimization
    • Evaluate paid advertising opportunities and devises a plan as necessary
    • Conduct keyword research using industry standards to keep BAYCOM and on the top half of first page of keyword searches
 
 
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years marketing experience
  • Business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • Experienced in all aspects of developing and executing marketing strategy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel to trade shows (Green Bay, Milwaukee, Wisconsin Dells, Chicago
