Opportunity: Sales and Marketing Associate

Our Sales and Marketing Associates are dedicated to improving the tour experience with superior audio solutions. This role includes consultation on product selection and selling or renting of tour guide equipment. TourGuide Solutions has a strong customer base of leading manufacturing, education, AV and tradeshow customers across the world, and we need a team-minded professional that wants to achieve growth through sales, marketing and business development strategy.

 

This is a great entry-level position to gain sales, product management and marketing experience selling the highest-rated technology solutions in the industry. You will have the opportunity to provide input and continuous improvement in a team environment to support marketing and e-commerce initiatives.

 

Responsibilities and Skills:

  • Develop new direct customer business leads, gather company intelligence, and follow up and respond to inquiries from marketing sources.
  • Contact and query existing customers and prospects to identify additional account development opportunities.
  • Create a reference library of segmented prospect lists for email marketing, sales call blitzes and events. Develop and keep current prospecting messages/scripts (verbal and written).
  • Provide a regular flow of qualified leads as established for monthly, quarterly and annual performance goals.
  • Support marketing lead generation activities and programs.
  • Provide onsite support to customers locally and across the United States who require additional event coordination at their tour or tradeshow event.
  • Assist in planning and execution of pre-, at- and post-tradeshow and marketing activities. This includes tradeshow research, assisting Marketing Manager with event coordination and developing effective sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Work closely with Marketing Manager to provide input and content to create relevant social networking posts, website videos and blog articles. Participate in monthly how-to video blogs to help demonstrate solutions to customers and increase social media following.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Previous on-the job or internship experience with inside or outside direct customer support, sales or other direct customer interaction.
  • Comfort with online search, research methods and social media use to gather business intelligence and attract leads.
  • Interest in developing a sales and marketing career.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast pace environment.
  • Team player and ability to collaborate with various working associates and work teams.
  • Some travel is required within the United States for tradeshows, onsite support, training and strategic planning meetings.

 

Preferred:

  • An Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education or Marketing or equivalent combination of experience and alternate degree in related field.
